The goal of our research is to produce a catalogue of diketone molecules in order to find a possible inhibitor for aromatase. To do this diketone compounds were produced in two steps by first synthesizing a base compound, and then a second step of microwave irradiation, producing a diketone. The compounds were confirmed by NMR after both steps in order to ensure synthesis was successful. A record of all products were catalogued to show successful and unsuccessful compounds/diketones.en_US
