Abstract

Many college students have the motivation to make good grades and succeed academically. A major factor that contributes to academic success is self-efficacy. Self-efficacy in college students is relevant in goal achievement. Student achievement is correlated with students’ personal satisfaction regarding their college performance. This study examines data collected from students enrolled at Northern Kentucky University. Grade point average is measured as a level of self-efficacy. Additionally, the data is compiled based on students’ personal motivation perspectives. Results are expected to show that Northern Kentucky University students with self-efficacy are academically successful.
