dc.description.abstract"Course-based Undergraduate Research Experiences (CURE) at Northern Kentucky University has students collaborate utilizing interesting molecules that are involved in medicine. These heteroaryl molecules have been handled by professionals and hypothesized to be factors within cancer. While knowing this, the class is motivated to make a difference by trying hard to have successful reactions and data within the lab. Successful synthesized and purified compounds can be viable for further research. The differences in results among the molecules give us a better understanding and a chance to present our findings. The tools used in the class portrays the complexity of organic chemistry differently and realistically."en_US
