dc.description.abstract"Intimate partner violence (IPV) is a global social problem that impacts several areas of functioning including mental health, finances, education, and human development. This cross sectional, self – administered survey will examine how IPV impacts the lives of individuals. The results will evidence the high prevalence of IPV, and illustrate the need for social work practice interventions designed to positively counteract associated negative economic and educational impacts. In addition, the results will support further research to identify specific challenges and possible policy and advocacy avenues to alleviate the impact of IPV."en_US
