The primary objective for this creative exploration was to facilitate the technical education and understanding of clay and glaze formulation for the participating student collaborator. To maximize on this undertaking, we also documented our process and created a simple, easy to follow guideline for future ceramic students also wishing to educate themselves about basic clay and glaze development. Our final objective was to create work using readily available, raw ceramic materials indigenous to the Ohio River Valley.en_US
