Abstract
"Sex work is an everyday occurrence here in the United States, but what drives public opinion on it? Religion has shown itself to be one of the main factors in this area. So how then do religiosity and public opinions of sex work interact? A test of public opinion on the matter was conducted on 204 respondents, and a link between support for increases in religiosity or other moral concerns being linked to an increase in moral concern for sex work, or vice versa, was found. However, the relationships were discovered to be nonlinear and not linear as previously thought."
