Research suggests that there are many different consequences for students who experience anxiety. Northern Kentucky University currently has no data specific to anxiety or its consequences. The current IRB-approved study uses a brief survey to collect data on the consequences of anxiety among NKU students. Findings from the study are expected to show that students experience a variety of negative consequences as a result of their anxiety. These findings will highlight the need for additional mental health resources, as well as the need to increase students’ awareness and understanding of anxiety symptoms and how to properly manage those symptoms.en_US
