dc.description.abstract"Stigma involves the negative or discriminatory attitudes that others have about mental illness. Past research suggests that mental illness stigma has a negative impact on the lives of college students in the United States. The study will analyze what college students believe about individuals with mental illness. Data will be collected online using a Qualtrics survey that will be sent out via social media. It is expected to find that mental illness stigma is prevalent among college students. Findings could be used to create educational programs that challenge stigmatizing beliefs."en_US
