dc.description.abstract"We looked at differential gene expression in squirrelfish at two different times of the year. We are specifically trying to determine if there is an upregulation in zinc transporting genes during breeding season when compared to nonbreeding season. Our results showed an upregulation in zip4 and zip10 in females compared to males and in November females compared to June females."en_US
