dc.description.abstract"Research reveals that lower SES is correlated with mental illness. Capitalism creates social classes that formulate an “us versus them” mindset. Research suggests that billionaires have no cap on how much income they can make, and the only way to become a billionaire is by exploiting the working class. Capitalism intentionally reduces resources for those in need because money is valued over lives. Social workers continuously run into dead ends and sometimes our clients basic needs are unable to be met. A brief survey was given to social workers to assess if reasoning for burnout is correlated with capitalist policies."en_US
