dc.description.abstract“Anxiety is a serious mental health issue, especially on college campuses. Transition to college, media and technology, and overall health contribute to this high prevalence of anxiety. NKU currently has no research that examines the prevalence of anxiety among college students. A brief survey was distributed to NKU students in the Student Union. This IRB-approved study will show that the prevalence of anxiety among students is fairly high. Furthermore, it will show that many students are unaware of the prevalence and effects of anxiety. These findings suggest that we need to further educate our students on the prevalence of anxiety. " en_US
