Studies show those who experience housing insecurity face more barriers to academic success than those with stable housing. This study is collecting data about the experience of Northern Kentucky University students and how experiencing housing insecurity affects academic performance. A brief IRB approved self-administered survey will be used to collect data about their experiences with housing insecurity and academic performance. The results from this study are expected to show that students who experience housing insecurity have poorer academic outcomes than students with stable housing. These findings will help show the need for homeless programming and assistance at Northern Kentucky University.en_US
