Substance abuse is a social problem that not only affects the user but those around them, from family to friends to people in the community. This cross sectional study uses an electronic self-report survey to examine the relationship between substance abuse among NKU students. It is anticipated that the findings of this study will bring attention to the barriers that students at NKU face when dealing with substance abuse. Findings could be used to offer insight to reasons why students struggling with addiction may have failing grades.en_US
