dc.description.abstractKing Arthur, his supporting cast, and his iconography have maintained ubiquity for centuries. But, with a deeper look into the story, any cohesion it seemed to have begins to crumble. So what is Arthurian canon, and why do these stories continue to matter? Historically, Arthurian canon has been influenced by the selective biases of writers, based on the world they lived in and the stories that came before. After familiarizing myself with various versions and their contexts, I outlined how would I update this sprawling myth once again for a modern audience, and examined my own selective biases.en_US
