dc.description.abstract"Past research indicates that individuals who have experienced poverty tend to experience negative outcomes in issues related to education, physical and mental health, and incarceration. This study examines the relationship between poverty and educational achievements of college students. Data was collected utilizing Qualtrics, an online survey, administered to college students on social media. Educational achievements are expected to be lower for those who experienced poverty. Findings may assist in efforts including policy change, further research, and resources directed towards social justice initiatives for college students who have experienced poverty."en_US
