dc.description.abstract"Discipline disparities affect students of color at a disproportionately high rate. Resulting punishments are often repetitive and unjust, with limited consideration for underlying challenges and societal structures. This exploratory, cross-sectional study will utilize non- probability, voluntary response sampling to examine the relationship between discrimination and disciplinary actions amongst college students. I anticipate that the results will display increased discipline actions for students of color. This data will provide a foundation for the development of social work practices to alleviate disparities in education settings. This data will also provide insights regarding policy and advocacy efforts, and future research to address the issue."en_US
