dc.description.abstract"Discrimination is a pressing topic that has received a lot of attention within the past few years. Research suggests that acts of discrimination can negatively affect all facets of a person’s life, including their physical, mental, behavioral, and academic wellbeing. This cross-sectional study uses an electronic survey to examine the prevalence of discrimination, the race of the person engaging in the discriminatory behavior, and whether the race of the perpetrator influences the extent of the emotional toll that results from said discrimination. The findings from this study will help us to better understand this social problem and the resulting consequences."en_US
