dc.description.abstract"Past research has looked at different ways to decrease anxiety. One study showed a decrease in anxiety for parents that colored while their child underwent surgery (Robinson, Baker, & Hossain). I wanted to see how anxiety would be affected by music. I created a survey that assessed the participants level of anxiety. I then asked the participants what type of music they listened to and how often they listened to music. The result of the study could give information on how music effects anxiety."en_US
