dc.description.abstract"Medically Assisted Treatment (MAT) can be a lifesaving tool for those who suffer from Substance Use Disorder, yet research suggests that there is considerable stigma associated with MAT. This cross-sectional study will use an electronic survey to examine people’s knowledge and support of MAT. The expected results will show that individuals have limited knowledge of MAT and that there is also limited support for the use of this treatment option. Social workers may use these findings to raise awareness about this effective treatment strategy."en_US
