dc.description.abstract"Ancient Native American cultures and history remains largely unknown among the general population of the United States. This presentation focuses on a display developed for the NKU Anthropology Museum that will assist students and others in understanding past Native cultures and the prehistory of southwest Ohio. The project has included library research, on-site visits, and visual documentation of Hopewell culture in our region. This project is timely because the majority of the Hopewell archaeological sites studied are nominated for the prestigious UNESCO designation of World Heritage Site."en_US
