Trauma has been shown to result in many adverse effects. This study focuses on understanding the relationship between past trauma, academic outcomes, and physical health among NKU students. A self-administered survey was used to assess for this relationship. This IRB approved study is expected to show that there is a correlation between experiences with trauma, GPA, retention, and physical health concerns. The findings from this research will show that all professionals, including NKU faculty and staff, should be trained in trauma informed care.en_US
