Perceptions of campus climate significantly impact students’ academic achievement and level of satisfaction with their university. It is only within the last decade that research has begun to examine the effects of campus climate on sexual minority groups. A brief, self- administered survey will assess perceptions of campus climate among college students. The anticipated results will show that negative perceptions of campus climate have a negative impact on students’ academic success and mental health. Results will bridge the gap in knowledge, provide insight into how to better serve students’ needs, and inform policy and advocacy initiatives to promote inclusivity at NKU.en_US
