Abstract
College students are faced with challenges that subject them to high levels of stress. The purpose of this study was to examine what kind of stress college students face. This study also examined whether there was a difference in stress levels between students who participated in a paid or unpaid internship. The results of this study were expected to find that students who participate in unpaid internships will experience more stress compared to those who do not, due to lack of financial resources. The study recommendation is that the university advocate for more paid internships for NKU students.
