This collection discusses the life of a large, 19th century slave owning Covington, KY family involved in business, banking, agriculture and the Roebling Bridge construction. Discusses aspects of slavery, the Civil War, health including cholera outbreaks. Includes several early pencil drawings by Mary Bruce Sharon.
