Abstract
Dr. Priscilla Layne was the featured speaker for the 2020 NKU German-American Day lecture. In her presentation, she traced the history of entanglements between Germany and the Black Diaspora, and discussed both representations of and attitudes towards Black people, as well as the history of Black people in Germany from the Middle Ages to the present.
