This study seeks to examine the relationship between Maslow’s Hierarchy of Needs, success of NKU foster alumni, and NKU’s resources. A self-administered survey will be used to assess for stability and academic success. The results from this IRB approved study are expected to show that foster care alumni experience greater academic success when they experience stability and are aware of available resources. The findings will also show that NKU lacks critical resources for this population. These findings can assist social workers in advocating for resources that promote a successful environment.en-USFoster childrenCollege studentsAcademic achievementStruggle of Foster Care Children in Obtaining a College DegreePresentation
