Research shows that children with disabilities are at increased risk for experiencing child abuse. When striving to prevent child abuse within this population, it is important to examine parenting styles since parenting styles may influence the type of discipline used by the parent. This cross-sectional study, which uses an electronic survey, examines whether the disability status of the parent and the child impact the parenting style. The results from this study will further inform social workers who are working to prevent child abuse."en-USChildren with disabilitiesChild abuseParentingChild Abuse & Neglect among those Living with a DisabilityPresentation
