The current study seeks to examine the relationship between discrimination and mental health symptoms among LGBTQ+ students. A brief self-administered survey will be used to assess for perceived discrimination by LGBTQ+ students and reported symptoms of anxiety and depression. The results from this IRB approved study are expected to show a correlation between LGBTQ+ discrimination on campus and increased mental health disparities among NKU’s LGBTQ+ population.
