The species diversity of carrion flies at two elevation levels were explored. Five pieces of chicken thighs were placed on the ground and on the roof of the Dorothy Westerman Natural Sciences Center at Northern Kentucky University. Observations were taken on the developmental history of the flies that were subsequently reared. After adults emerged, the flies were killed, pinned, and identified to species.
