Reports of negative police encounters are prevalent amongst minorities, suggesting that non-minorities experience more favorable interactions. I have implemented an exploratory, cross-sectional survey to determine satisfaction levels of the CJS. Results depicted lower satisfaction levels and perceptions of fairness and safety of the CJS by Black or African American individuals between ages 20-40.
