Abstract
Rising cost of living and tuition rates create an increased demand for college students to work while attending school. College students are spending more and more time with coworkers and management as a result. However, there has been little research conducted on the impact of workplace relationships on colleges students. The purpose of this study is to examine how work relationships affect academic success and mental health in the context of working college students. The anticipated outcome is that students with poor workplace relationships will have their mental health and academic success impacted negatively.
