Abstract
It is not uncommon for college students to struggle with mental health—specifically with anxiety and/or depression. Often, a college student’s anxiety and/or depression may have a negative impact on their academic performance—for example, a student’s GPA and attendance rates. This study examines the prevalence of these ramifications. Data was collected from NKU students through an online survey using Qualtrics. Results were expected to show that a student’s anxiety and/or depression does, in fact, have a negative impact on their academic performance.
