Abstract
"Currently NKU is below average at graduating students due to lower retention rates. Lower retention effects both students and NKU. The perceptions of students and Veteran students may offer insight or solutions. A survey consisting of categorical questions will be distributed via social media. This survey addresses students’ and military veteran students’ perceptions of facilitators and barriers to success at NKU or other institutions.
Common perceptions are anticipated regarding cost and course offerings. Once data is collected common perceptions, positive or negative, may provide insight improving retention and Veteran success at NKU."
