Abstract
"Cancer is the second leading cause of death in the United States with 599,601 deaths in 2019, only behind heart disease. The significance of our research is dedicated to synthesizing novel molecules that could go towards the fight against this challenging disease. While our team focused on a variety of molecules, the molecule I Synthesized, I80- H40, showed encouraging signs by computer modeling that it could be a bioactive molecule. From this, further studying and purification can be performed to investigate
its potential in fighting breast cancer."
