Abstract
"Child abuse continues to be a prevalent problem in the United States, so therapeutic treatments and interventions are necessary for healing and recovery to occur.
Research shows that child maltreatment and abuse can lead to many issues later in life for those who have been abused, and art therapy has proven to be an effective and useful method to treat traumatized and abused children."
