Abstract
The world of technology has continued to grow at alarming rates and has infiltrated the most basics aspects of our everyday life. This growth has brought advancements and improvements in the way we communicate and for young adults, it’s the “dawning of a new society” (Wallace, 98) where people are no longer interacting face-to-face and creating a decline in social participation. As an adverse effect of this decline, young adults are experiencing higher levels of anxiety and feelings of depression.
