Abstract

Employee engagement is essential for organizational success, so understanding factors that encourage and support employee engagement is necessary. One such factor is leadership style. Which leadership approach is most effective for employee engagement? Is there one best approach, or are there many factors to consider? Using a systemic literature review, this study explores the relationship between leadership style and employee engagement in the workplace to identify which leadership approaches are most beneficial for inspiring employee engagement.
