consists of letters to family members about health/illness, cholera, “paralisis” (stroke), making/ preserving food, a religious meeting, a letter to her grandmother’s “Colored woman”, her new home in Covington, KY, childcare advice, family news, family marriages including to a “Yankee”, one letter gives Richard Lashbrook Green permission to marry her daughter Henrietta. Includes 1859-60 Wesleyan Female College annual catalog and Mary’s obituary.
